In the late twenty first century earth falls under the attack of an alien inter-dimensional force known as the Ghehod, a ruthless group of netherworldly realtors and slave traders. These bizarre creatures began to shift earth from our existence into theirs using a dimensional slip device, a technology by which they displace and pull planets into their reality. Earth would now exist in an alien star system shrouded in darkness with the eerie light of two dim suns that cast a radioactive glow over the entire planet and neighbored by a freakish blue moon that is not its own. Once there the Ghehod pay large sums to lease out private armies from mercenary firms who plunder these worlds and secure them as new territory for their clients.

Multi-trillionaire and global dictator Tyrus Trudeaux ruled earth during this period. This leading international citizen achieved the power of an emperor, creating a mighty dynasty of self genetically altered humans. Chairman Tyrus Trudeaux led the fight against this strange invasion forging himself from fascist tyrant to adored world champion for freedom. For a while the chairman and his armies held the Ghehod back. Though humanity was inferior in technology their adaptive ability in the face of defeat was unswerving, many preferring annihilation than defeat. Tyrus had rallied the world to a new cause "the survival of mankind" at all cost and its dominion over earth. For the Ghehod this presented a dilemma being that the subjugation of earth for slave trade was financially vital, but under Tyrus, earths now undisputed "Master of the world", the Ghehod would remain unvictorious for many years.

Tyrus Trudeaux was assassinated before his dream of a free earth was secure. Weaker Trudeaux's responsible for orchestrating his demise gained power over the Chairmanship. Ultimately the earth fell into chaos and disarray, where civil war became common. Amid the anarchy and global disaster, earth soon fell to the Ghehod and now exists permanently within their reality as an occupied territory.

The conquest of earth had been difficult and more costly than the Ghehod anticipated and keeping it was becoming an even greater expense. The undying human spirit brought forth martyrs, self made generals and countless freedom fighters who well after Tyrus's death refused to let go of his dream. Slave rebellion was a constant with the humans and guerilla attacks were unceasing. The Ghehod began to believe the species known as mankind was untamable. The males of the species they found to be especially prone to insurrection. Earth was becoming a very bad business venture. With pressure from investors rising and major loss of profits mounting, the Ghehod decide to enact a transevolution directive for all human males.

A transevolution directive is the radical genetic transformation of a species into a docile gelatinous being. The male population of earth, over the course of many years, were to be breed out of their humanoid forms into a multi-tentacled slug-like creature that oozed and slithered across the ground. Human females would remain as they were, but expected to mate with these grotesque creatures of which they would birth normal daughters, yet hideous sons, with each generation becoming more.

The Ghehod believed that by altering human males into nothing more than mindless animals called, "keragooghee" they would at least be able to save their female slave market by increasing breeding to make up for male losses. They also believed they would be able to control the female population with greater ease. Their assessments; however, were gravely inaccurate. It wasnt very long before the Ghehod discovered they had tremendously underestimated the human female. From earth sprouted the worlds most vicious militants and resistance leaders. Such as general Amanda Barnhill who's hit and run raids butchered all nonhumans and left no prisoners. Secret sisterhoods began to create an even greater problem for the invaders. The distinction between slave and rebel became a blur. The conquest of earth was an economic failure.

The Ghehod realized that earth would continue to exhaust their profits; therefore they devised a plan to lease the planet out to mahug miners whose sole interest in the world was to strip it of its minerals. After the mahug had gutted earth of its resources the Ghehod would then lease what was left over to the Honsal-y-sal-y-hon scientific alliance.

The Mahug fearing the same failure as the Ghehod contrived a different strategy for their occupation of earth. They would compromise with the worlds resistance leaders and secret sisterhoods allowing them to openly govern their own territories, secure from slave trade. The different sisterhoods would form a neo-Amazon society with militant chieftesses called "magsee". All nonaffiliated human females; however would work as free laborers in mahug mines. The magsee agreed to these new freedoms that were for some, but not all. The magsee became wealthy in mining pay offs and increased territory once the mahug were finished with an area. Despite their appearance of complacency; however some magsee still had or started underground movements intent on freeing earth from all alien presence. The most secret of these sisterhoods was the order of Tyrus, an elusive group of militant free laborers called bossee who did not follow a magsee, but an anonymous leader only known as Ms. Bossee.

After many years on earth the Mahug began to realize their grip on the planet was slipping. Constant attacks on mahug industries and radiation scuttling of mines was beginning to weaken the financial worth of the world. Many of the magsee and their sisterhoods blamed these attacks on "Bootoo", wild male humans that secretly live in the wilderness - dangerous feral descendents of men who escaped the Ghehod transevolution directive in its early days. It was rumored that these untainted males had formed into different packs that would kidnap unsuspecting women to breed more of their kind back into existence. Most women were still forced to mate with the slug-like keragooghee to continue the human species and saw these rumors as nothing more than fantasy.

The Mahug conducted an extensive investigation into the matter. after several years they determined that bootoo did actually exist and present some degree of danger, however there were not enough of them to be considered a real threat. They also ascertained that wild males could only be responsible for less than five percent of the attacks, meaning that the majority of them were planned and maliciously carried out by the sisterhoods. Immediate action was taken against the magsee and their sisterhoods. Many were imprisoned; others were executed. Their cities were sacked and their children sold to offworld traders. Keragooghee males were also ordered to be slaughtered at an alarming rate in an attempt to cull the huThe mahug had all but forgotten the problems that plagued the Ghehod occupation of earth. From the ashes of their atrocities rose an enraged human populace. Rebellion engulfed the globe as sisterhoods began to unite under the free laborer bossee society. The bossee incited a war against the mahug so brutal and fierce that for the first time since the age of Tyrus, humanity was able to repel an alien force from the earth and hold them back for a considerable amount of years.

The bossee placed themselves as earths central government with the magsee working as generals beneath them. Earth became a global militaristic regime. Radical breeding programs were begun to not only breed more female warriors, but bootoo were also aggressively hunted and captured in an attempt to breed a normal male population back into existence. For the mahug, earth had become an embarrassing nightmare. They were paying the Ghehod for a planet they no longer had possession of. Only after years of persistent strikes from outside of earths orbit were they able to recapture the world. Holding earth was a constant effort on the part of the mahug and mining enough to make a profit impossible. The planet had considerably depreciated in value and its inhabitants were too unpredictably hostile. The Mahug held the planet long enough for their lease to expire and quickly turned the planet back over to the Ghehod.

After the Mahug occupation ended the Ghehod made no attempt to reoccupy the planet. The Honsal-y-sal-y-hon scientific alliance also refused to carry through with their lease after the Mahug disaster. The Ghehod knew their would be no leasing earth a second time with such a reputation and soiled resources. Earth was put up for bid on an open inter-dimensional market. After several years the planet sold at a less than adequate price to a Spagoot ex-royal named Kreg Ny Vit, one of the last of a race of multi-dimensional weapons dealers who's empires in ancient days even engulfed the Ghehod as subjects. Now this two thousand year old daughter of a long dead warlord spends her retirement abroad. Kreg Ny was fascinated with earth's resistant reputation as untamable. She decided to add it as a holiday retreat along with the other twenty-one worlds she already owned. She knew that earths inhabitants would present a challenge to tame. Kreg Ny decided the best solution was to demolish the surface of the planet using an offensive dimensional shift, whereas the earths crust was shifted across its mantle causing continents to crack, buckle and sink. Massive global volcanic reactions erupted and new landmasses formed. The world then began to cool off at an alarming rate and earth entered its next ice age.

Their were surprisingly a fair number of survivors of the Kreg Ny Vit holocaust, but not enough to pose the slightest threat. Kreg Ny could now easily bring earth under control. All humans were captured and detained to be re-educated into a new human society - one of her design. She re-established the primitive neo-Amazon empire, with great restrictions against advanced technology. The bossee were banned and a king known as "the Mugghee" was created to rule over the existing sisterhoods with spooky male eunuchs called beghee to protect and enforce the kings will and a court of princesses "mugmagsee" to assist him in his duties. The magsee were reorganized as independent city and village chieftesses united under the king. All males other than the mugghee king were forbidden to live on earth and sent offworld. Other than these few restrictions humans lived freely on earth with out heavy occupation by offworlders. Kreg Ny Vit's cold and uncaring method of bringing the world under control had worked. Earth would now exist in a state of peace for years to come, but at a great cost. The offensive dimensional shift had permanently damaged earth. Global cooling had slowed down, but would continue indefinitely.

It is now the twenty-sixth century - the age of king Tewa the fifth, eleventh mugghee of earth. The year when the sister comets - y'amat and v'ensee - blazed the sky. Two thirds of his world is covered in ice. The planets sparse population, of less than four million huddled, in the few small primitive cities that still exist around the cold but unfrozen equator. The human race is almost extinct. But for a traveler named memmon extinction is not an option. The twin comets were seen as an omen - a sign that a new age labors to be born. Now she is alone on a quest to find a deliverer. A demigod from the old world. A legend that is said to rest within the dead territories, where none live and few will go.
